Respect for che environment
LAPIPLAST has developed a production process which fully respects the surrounding natural environment. There are no waste products because the residual material is recycled in accordance with the current legislation.
First Photovoltaic plant
Lapi Plast has always been attentive to the environment and, for this reason, a photovoltaic system was installed in 2011 which completely covers the plants, producing over 345,000 kWh kWh per year with a reduction of CO2 of 160 t/year.
The plant is with SUN POWER technology and in 2011 the start-up was celebrated in the plant in Via Barboiara n.1 located in Barco di Bibbiano.
Second Photovoltaic plant
In 2012, exactly one year after the inauguration of the first plant, the second photovoltaic plant was inaugurated, located in the headquarters in Via I Maggio, 32.
The two plants generate an average of 500,000 kWh of green energy per year.
This leads to a reduction in CO2 emissions for a total of over 160 t/year. This adds up to the total recycling of waste plastic material which is reintroduced into production through the most modern recovery technologies.
